In 2023, Between the Waves — A Nice Mar Fund was brought to life by Nick, Celeste, and Marcela, (NICE MAR) driven by a mission to reshape our economy and democracy into forces that serve everyone, not just a privileged few.

Our effort is part of a broader struggle for democracy and equality that has built significant change across the globe. Yet, despite the wins, countless individuals continue to navigate through life on unstable ground.

Imagine if some of your friends didn't have the necessary blocks to build their future. That wouldn't be fair, right ? We want to make our contribution to changing that, making sure everyone has enough blocks to build their dreams. By asking questions like "Why?" and "How can we make things better?" we wish to shape a world where everyone can play, learn, and live happily, with freedom and fairness as fundamental principles.
